UEFA-Licensed GK Coaches.
German DFB Framework.
Every TM17pro goalkeeper coach holds an official UEFA coaching license and a German Goalkeeper Coach License — a rigorous DFB-certified qualification covering every technical and tactical aspect of the modern goalkeeper position.
We work exclusively with coaches who have professional playing experience as goalkeepers combined with formal coaching education. That combination — lived experience at the top level plus structured methodology — is what separates TM17pro goalkeeper sessions from anything else available in Northern Virginia.
All coaches hold official UEFA goalkeeper coaching licenses. Professional playing experience required — no exceptions.
Sessions follow the DFB goalkeeper methodology — the same framework used in German Bundesliga academies. Proven, structured, and effective.
Every goalkeeper is seen. High repetition, real-time corrections, and individual feedback on every single touch.
The Five Pillars of Modern Goalkeeping
Based on the German DFB goalkeeper development framework. Every session addresses multiple pillars simultaneously — because the modern game demands a complete goalkeeper.
Correct hand positioning, body shape, and catching technique under match pressure. Diving mechanics, footwork patterns, and reaction training built through high-rep repetition.
The modern goalkeeper is the first outfield player. Short and long distribution, goal kicks under pressure, and playing through the press. Build-up involvement and sweeper-keeper positioning.
Our signature Zoning Method teaches keepers to manage and command specific zones within the penalty area, position proactively based on patterns of play, and react decisively under pressure.
We train concentration, composure after mistakes, focus under fatigue, and the mental habits of professional keepers — drawn from how top-level goalkeepers are developed in European academies.
The goalkeeper sees the whole pitch. We train keepers to lead — organizing the defensive line, calling for the ball, directing set pieces, and communicating under pressure. This is the skill that separates good goalkeepers from great ones, and it’s rarely trained anywhere else in Northern Virginia.
The Zoning Method —
Our Goalkeeper Framework
Most goalkeeper training focuses on reactions — catch this, dive there. The Zoning Method goes further: it teaches keepers to control the game proactively rather than just respond to it.
Based on the European professional academy approach, it divides the penalty area into zones that the goalkeeper owns, reads, and manages.
